1. Scope and Acceptance
1.1These Service Provider Terms ("Provider Terms") govern registration and use of Coloneed by an independent person or business offering services through the Platform.
1.2By creating a Provider account, submitting profile or verification information, becoming live, applying for work, accepting a Request or otherwise using Coloneed as a Provider, you agree to these Provider Terms and to the Connection & Transaction Terms applicable to each Request or application.
1.3The initial launch categories covered by these Provider Terms include domestic / maid services, electricians, plumbers and air-conditioning technicians. Coloneed may add other categories subject to further requirements or supplemental terms.
2. Eligibility and Independent Status
2.1You must be legally competent to contract and legally permitted to provide the services you offer. You must not register or provide services through another person's identity.
2.2You use Coloneed as an independent provider of your own services. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, you are not an employee, agent, partner, franchisee or representative of Coloneed.
2.3You remain free, subject to applicable law, to work for existing customers, work directly, work through other platforms, decline Requests, set your availability and undertake other lawful work.
2.4Coloneed does not guarantee any minimum number of Requests, earnings, salary, working hours, geographic area, or continuity of work.
2.5Nothing in these Provider Terms overrides any employment, labour, social-security or worker-status right that mandatory law may independently create based on the actual relationship and operating practices.
3. Provider Profile and Information
3.1You must provide materially accurate information including your name, mobile number, photograph, address or locality, service area, skills, service categories, experience, languages and availability.
3.2You must promptly update information that materially changes, including availability, contact number, service area, licence status or ability to perform a listed service.
3.3You must not exaggerate qualifications, experience, prior customers, police verification, certifications, tools, equipment, service capacity or any other fact likely to influence a Customer's decision.
3.4Salary expectations or service prices are not required to be permanently fixed in the Provider profile under the Phase 1 model; the actual underlying service amount is agreed directly with the Customer.
4. Identity, Verification and Documents
4.1Coloneed may request identity, address, police-verification, customer-reference, qualification, licence, certification or other evidence relevant to your service category.
4.2Documents must be genuine, current where required, and belong to the person or business represented by the Provider account.
4.3You must not submit forged, altered, borrowed, misleading or fraudulently obtained documents.
4.4A Coloneed verification badge indicates only the verification step described by that badge. It is not a promise of guaranteed safety, competence, honesty, future conduct or Customer satisfaction.
4.5Coloneed may suspend a profile while verification is incomplete, expired, disputed or reasonably suspected to be false.
5. Services, Skills, Licences and Safety Competence
5.1You may accept only work that you are legally and practically competent to perform safely.
5.2Where a law requires a licence, registration, certification, permit or other authorisation for the requested work, you are responsible for holding and maintaining it unless Coloneed expressly undertakes that obligation in writing.
5.3Electricians, plumbers and AC technicians must use reasonable trade practices and must not knowingly undertake dangerous work outside their competence.
5.4Domestic workers must comply with lawful household instructions relevant to the agreed work, but are not required to perform illegal, abusive, dangerous or materially different tasks merely because requested by a Customer.
5.5If you believe the premises, equipment, wiring, gas, refrigerant, water system, structural condition, chemicals, animals or any other condition creates a material safety risk, you should stop or refuse the unsafe work and inform the Customer.
6. Availability, Requests and Acceptance
6.1You are responsible for keeping your availability reasonably current. Being listed as a Provider does not require you to accept every Request.
6.2A Request shown to you is not a guarantee of work. For an Instant Request, only the first eligible acceptance successfully recorded by Coloneed creates the connection.
6.3If another Provider accepts first, you are not entitled to a Connection Fee deduction, compensation or lost-opportunity payment merely because you attempted to accept.
6.4Once you accept a Request, you should act in good faith, contact the Customer appropriately and make reasonable efforts to honour the accepted service arrangement or cancel promptly if genuinely unable to proceed.
6.5Repeated acceptance followed by avoidable cancellation or no-show may affect ranking, visibility or Platform eligibility.
7. Conduct at Customer Premises
7.1You must behave professionally and respectfully and must not engage in theft, fraud, threats, violence, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, stalking, intimidation, unlawful discrimination, substance-impaired work, unlawful recording, intentional property damage or other criminal or abusive conduct.
7.2You must respect reasonable household privacy, access restrictions and confidentiality and must not inspect, copy, photograph or disclose private information unrelated to the service.
7.3You must not bring an unapproved substitute, assistant or other person to the Customer premises unless the Customer has agreed and the Platform / law permits it.
7.4You must not use Customer contact information for unrelated marketing, harassment, surveillance or sale to third parties.
7.5You should report material pre-existing damage or unsafe conditions before beginning work where reasonably possible, particularly for repair / installation jobs.
8. Direct Service Payment
8.1The Customer pays the underlying service amount directly to you outside Coloneed unless the Platform expressly introduces a different payment product for a specific service.
8.2Coloneed does not guarantee that a Customer will pay you, does not guarantee a particular salary or service charge, and does not ordinarily collect the underlying service amount under the Phase 1 model.
8.3You should agree the actual service amount, material charges, replacement parts, overtime, frequency and other commercial terms directly with the Customer before incurring significant cost whenever reasonably possible.
8.4You remain responsible for invoices, receipts, taxes, registrations and records legally required from you.
9. Coloneed Connection Fees and Balance
9.1Coloneed may charge you a Platform Connection Fee or Application Fee when a chargeable event occurs. The applicable fee will be displayed in Indian Rupees before you accept or apply.
9.2The fee may be deducted from your prepaid Coloneed Balance according to the Connection & Transaction Terms.
9.3Your Coloneed Balance is intended for payment of Coloneed's own Platform charges. It is not salary, earnings, a bank deposit or a payment method for Customer-to-Provider service consideration.
10. Permanent Hiring / Domestic Work Applications
10.1Where Coloneed enables permanent or longer-term domestic work requirements, you may choose whether to apply. An applicable Application Fee may be charged only as displayed before submission.
10.2An application does not guarantee selection, employment, salary or continued work. The Customer independently selects among applicants and directly agrees salary, schedule, duties and other employment / engagement terms.
10.3Coloneed does not become your employer merely because it facilitated the introduction, subject to any mandatory legal status arising from the actual facts and law.
11. Training, Orientation and Performance Evidence
11.1Coloneed may provide orientation, safety information, microlearning, skill assessment or refresher material to improve Platform reliability and Customer confidence.
11.2Completion of such material does not by itself create employment with Coloneed or constitute a government licence unless expressly stated.
11.3Ratings, completion history, response behaviour, cancellations, repeat customers and verified skills may affect ranking and eligibility.
12. Cancellations, No-Shows and Misuse
12.1Cancellation and refund rules are governed by the Connection & Transaction Terms. Under the current Phase 1 rule, eligible cancellation before completion ordinarily returns the applicable Coloneed Connection Fee to both parties' Coloneed Balances.
12.2You must not accept a Request solely to obtain Customer details and then cancel in order to avoid the Coloneed fee while completing the work off-platform.
12.3Fake applications, collusive cancellations, refund manipulation, sham Requests, repeated no-shows and abuse of promotional balance may result in restriction or suspension.
13. Ratings, Complaints and Investigations
13.1Customers may rate and review genuine interactions. Coloneed may investigate serious complaints, request information, preserve records and temporarily restrict a Provider while a safety or fraud issue is reviewed.
13.2A complaint is not automatically proof of wrongdoing. Coloneed may consider available evidence, repeated patterns, seriousness of the allegation, legal requirements and Platform safety when deciding account action.
13.3Coloneed may cooperate with lawful police, court or regulatory requests and may report matters where required by law.
14. Taxes and Statutory Compliance
14.1You are responsible for taxes, registrations, licences and statutory obligations legally applicable to your service activity.
14.2You must provide PAN, GSTIN or other tax / identity information where Coloneed reasonably requires it to comply with law.
14.3Coloneed may deduct, withhold, report, collect or obtain information about a transaction where applicable law requires it, even if the Customer pays you directly.
15. Indemnity and Liability
15.1Subject to applicable law, you remain responsible for your own service, representations, negligence, misconduct, unlawful acts, tax non-compliance, infringement of third-party rights and damage caused by you.
15.2To the extent legally enforceable, you will indemnify Coloneed and its officers and employees against third-party claims, penalties, losses and reasonable legal costs arising directly from your material breach, unlawful act, wilful misconduct, false licence / qualification, unauthorised substitution or underlying service, except to the extent caused by Coloneed's own unlawful conduct or non-excludable liability.
15.3Nothing in these Provider Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Suspension and Termination
16.1Coloneed may restrict, suspend or terminate your account for forged documents, serious safety risk, criminal conduct, repeated no-shows, fraud, harassment, misuse of Customer data, review manipulation, circumvention, legal requirement or material breach of these Provider Terms.
16.2Where appropriate, Coloneed may suspend only a category, reduce visibility, require reverification or impose proportionate risk controls instead of permanently terminating the account.
17. Privacy and Communications
17.1Coloneed will process Provider personal data, verification information, location, availability, activity and performance data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
17.2You agree to receive transactional communications for OTP, Requests, application status, acceptance, cancellation, account security, safety, verification, support and legal notices.
18. Governing Law and General Terms
18.1These Provider Terms are governed by the laws of India.
18.2If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent legally permissible.
18.3Coloneed may update these Provider Terms prospectively where necessary for new services, law, pricing or risk controls, with notice where required.
